Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 15 April 2025
These terms set out the basis on which Bodhi Wealth offers its financial education programmes and the conditions that apply when you enrol. Please read them at your own pace before registering. If anything is unclear, we are glad to explain further before you commit.
1. About Bodhi Wealth
Bodhi Wealth is a financial education provider based at 28 Wireless Road, Lumphini, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. We offer small-group programmes designed to help adults in their forties and beyond think more clearly about household finances and long-term investing.
We are an education provider, not a licensed financial advisor, stockbroker, or fund manager. Nothing offered in any of our programmes constitutes regulated financial advice. All programme content is for educational and reflective purposes only.
2. Nature of Our Programmes
Our programmes are structured learning experiences — facilitated discussions, written exercises, and guided reading — intended to help participants build financial literacy at their own pace. Specifically:
- Saving with Intention at 40+ (฿5,400) — a four-session evening programme covering saving principles, emergency reserves, and the household tradition of gold and bank deposits.
- Reading Fund Factsheets and Reports (฿8,300) — a one-day workshop on reading and understanding Thai mutual fund documentation.
- The Patience Programme: Investing Across a Decade (฿11,400) — six sessions over three months, exploring long-horizon investing principles and the preparation of a personal investing statement.
We do not recommend specific funds, stocks, or financial products. Participants are encouraged to take anything discussed in our programmes to a licensed financial advisor for personalised planning.
3. Enrolment and Payment
A place in a programme is confirmed once we have received full payment and sent you a written confirmation. Prices shown on this website are in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all programme materials unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless a prior arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- We reserve the right to decline an enrolment at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.
- Programme materials (workbooks, glossaries) become yours to keep following the programme.
4. Cancellation and Transfers
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:
- More than 14 days before the programme begins: a full refund will be issued, less a ฿500 administrative handling fee.
- 7 to 14 days before the programme begins: a 50% refund will be issued, or you may transfer your place to the next available cohort at no additional cost.
- Fewer than 7 days before the programme begins: no refund is available, but we will endeavour to offer a transfer to a future cohort where space allows.
To request a cancellation or transfer, please write to us at [email protected]. Transfers are subject to availability and must be used within twelve months of the original programme date.
5. Programme Changes and Cancellation by Bodhi Wealth
We schedule our programmes carefully and aim to run them as advertised. Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control may require us to make changes.
- If we need to reschedule a session, we will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date.
- If we cancel a programme entirely, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of the programme fee within 14 working days.
- We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants as a result of a change or cancellation.
- We may occasionally substitute a facilitator without prior notice; the programme content will remain unchanged.
6. Participant Conduct
Our programmes work best in an atmosphere of mutual respect and discretion. We ask all participants to:
- Treat facilitators and fellow participants with consideration.
- Keep confidential any personal or financial information shared by others in the group, even in anonymous form.
- Refrain from soliciting or offering financial products or services to other participants during or after the programme.
- Not record sessions in any format without the prior written consent of the facilitator and all participants.
Bodhi Wealth reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a programme if their behaviour materially disrupts the learning environment. In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.
7. Intellectual Property
The workbooks, session materials, glossaries, and written frameworks provided as part of our programmes are the intellectual property of Bodhi Wealth. Participants are welcome to use them for their own personal reference and reflection.
These materials may not be reproduced, shared publicly, adapted for commercial use, or distributed to others without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Bodhi Wealth provides educational content only. We do not accept responsibility for financial decisions made by participants as a result of attending our programmes, whether those decisions lead to a gain or a loss.
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our liability to any participant arising from or in connection with a programme is limited to the amount paid for that programme.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or a programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
10. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and the date above reflects the most recent update. Terms applicable to a programme you have enrolled in are those in effect at the time of enrolment confirmation.
